Different Fields we Enjoy!

Description:

We consider Nitehawk Paintball our homefield since we play several games per year at this location, the atmosphere among the players and staff are friendly, and everyones goal is to make sure that not only everyone remains safe but also has a great time at all their events...yes...even the Airsoft ones :)

The parking area is large with plenty of room for RV and tent camping, just make sure to bring your own water and generator since at the moment there are no RV hookups available. As for tent camping the ground can be a little hard so if that's an issue be sure to pack an air mattress or some other comfort device, but it's not necessary.

As for the field, there are several bases scattered across Nitehawk, mostly connected with dirtroads that have been pushed through to make navigation and travel a little easier. The northern end of the field is one of the most popular areas for intense firefights with a city and a large trench network that spans from the southwest, to the southeast areas of the city. The second most popular area on the field has always been the center near the Junkyard and Radio Tower, lots of teams and players use this area to set up choke points to limit the opposing teams movements.

Description:

We've been going to KC-Crusaders' 24 Hour Game for the last few years as our last big game hoorah for the season, this game always seems to pull in about 400 players year after year, and honestly it can be the most game for your buck in the PNW since you start at ~10am Saturday morning, stop around 6pm for about an hour for the night game, and they allow you to remain on the field for the entire night, then the game doesn't end until ~2pm Sunday afternoon which means it's roughly 25-26 full hours of paint slinging excitment!

Camping at this field can be very tight, if you plan on bringing your RV make sure you show up extra early to grab a spot, (first come, first served) if you're tent camping more than likely to save on space and allow others to camp you'll be asked to unload your gear at your campsite, and then park your vehicle at their designated parking area, it's not a long walk unless you've been playing so hard your legs are jello.

This field is long and narrow and split down the middle by a shallow river that you can cross if you wanted to, this setup give plenty of opportunities to setup choke points, but also gives enough room to flank and bypass your opponents. There are two ways to gain points in this event, the first is to capture bases by their designated times usually pre-determined in 2 hour intervals, and the second is to take and keep control of an ammo box, points for this objective is awarded at the top of every hour, day and night. The atmosphere at this field is definitely more upbeat and can be faster paced than other games, but that just adds to the excitment this field offers.

Supergame Oregon is definitley one of those events that you need to go to at least once in your life, not just for the paintball, but also for the experience of having 2,000 player on the field at any given time, paintball tanks over running your position, the players you'll meet, and did I mention the vendors? My first Supergame was back in 2010, and the Monkeys always try to turn out in force since our formation back in 2021.

Camping is by reservation, so as long as you register early you'll be able to guarantee you or your team a great area to stage at for the weekend, Supergame has both RV and tent camping but I would recommend that if you want to be close to the field and vendors then you should tent camp since the RV sites are really far away...then again a cool thing about SG is they have thier own taxi service to bring players to and from camp...seriously.

This field is basically a large bowl, if you ask any veteran of Supergame Oregon they'll tell you they walked up hill all weekend, if you look at the field from an arial view you'll notice that the Darkwoods base is basically dead center, and there are eight (8) other bases that surround it making Darkwoods a key capture base even if it's not worth any points.
